The Canton of Zurich comprises a dynamic network of companies, research and educational institutions, specialised organisations, public sector institutions and creative personalities. We connect these players and, together with the regional location promotion offices in the Canton, we strengthen the continuous further development of the business location, its industry diversity and innovative capacity.

We are committed to innovative start-ups such as Cutiss, which finds optimal conditions in the Bio-Technopark Schlieren-Zurich. We connect companies like Eberhard Bau in the Zurich Unterland with policymakers, administration, business and the population. And we drive forward-looking projects together with companies such as Google Switzerland, universities and research institutes.

We strengthen

We enable networking between representatives from industry, academia and politics with the aim of strengthening Zurich's key industries (Cleantech, Finance, ICT and Life Sciences). 

Furthermore, we support companies with innovation topics and are a partner of innovation hubs and platforms.

We foster

We support companies with topics and queries regarding Zurich as a business location. We are a point of contact for resident companies and businesses interested in moving to Zurich, as well as for work permits or other permit-related questions. We also provide a one-stop shop for more complex projects, bringing together all parties concerned so that relevant questions can be addressed and clarified as swiftly as possible.

In addition, we support aspiring entrepreneurs with their entrepreneurial endeavours.

We are also committed to reducing the administrative burden for companies.

We promote regional industry diversity because SMEs constitute the economic backbone of our regions. By way of connecting and supporting regional initiatives, we facilitate interaction between the regions and the exchange of knowledge and innovation.
