Our tasks range from promoting the canton of Zurich as a business location, networking players in key industries, issuing work and business permits to enforcing the Labour Act. We are also responsible for housing promotion and the cantonal office for economic national supply.

The secretariats of the Tripartite Commission and the cantonal arbitration board for labour disputes are also represented in the Office of Economy.
