The agri-food industry in the Canton of Zurich covers the entire value chain – from agriculture and food production and processing to trade and catering. As home to numerous innovative companies, start-ups and research institutions, Zurich is shaping the future of food production and processing. Sustainable value chains, state-of-the-art technologies and a growing awareness of resource-efficient nutrition make the region an important player in the national and international food industry.
