Are you looking for employees? The Regional Employment Services (RAV) provide free assistance with your recruitment efforts. This page shows you how to proceed.
Key Points at a Glance
- The RAV (Regional Employment Center) connects you with suitable job seekers free of charge.
- You can post job openings online in the Job Room at or report them directly to the RAV.
- Certain professions are subject to mandatory reporting: You must report these positions before publicly advertising them.
- You can also hire staffing agencies or temporary employment agencies. Make sure they have a license, as you may otherwise be fined.
Is your job subject to mandatory reporting?
The job reporting requirement applies to occupations with an unemployment rate of 5 percent or higher. You must report these positions before advertising them publicly.

How to proceed

Are you an employer or do you run a private employment agency? Register your job opening directly online via arbeit.swiss.
If your job vacancy is subject to mandatory reporting, report it to the Job Vacancy Reporting Center (SMZ) before you advertise it publicly.
Publish your job in the Job-Room, to reach job seekers.
Contact your local RAV. The RAV will assist you in filling your vacancy and refer suitable candidates.
